Daryl Synstelien began his tenure as the Program Director for the proprietorship of Synstelien Foster Homes in 1993. He has served as Executive Director for Synstelien Community Services since its incorporation in 1999. His entrepreneurial background and skills in consumer relations and business management specially equip him for the challenges of the Human Services industry. A determination for this agency to provide the highest quality of services motivates a "person-centered" and team-oriented approach to meeting the needs of disabled individuals and their families.
Linda Synstelien, Chief Financial Officer
Linda Synstelien served as the Business Administrator for the proprietorship of Synstelien Foster Homes from 1993 to 1999 and has continued in that position for Synstelien Community Services from 1999 to the present. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Linda is a "master" at data organization and interpretation. She is responsible for publishing the shift schedules for all Supported Living Services Residences, as well as In-Home Services staff for the families this agency supports; this typically amounts to more than 650 shifts per month! Linda also manages accounts payable & receivable as well as payroll duties.
Kent Runge, Services Coordinator
Kent Runge's educational background is in psychology and experiential education. He has worked with children, adults and families in residential care, community mental health and inpatient psychiatric settings in both administrative and direct care capacities. Kent serves as our agency's liaison to families receiving in-home services. He also does some selected training of staff as well as writing client reports.
Terry Loven, Care Plan Manager Terry has been in the nursing field for over 25 years. Her vast experience in the hospital, clinic, minor surgery, specialty, and nursing home settings give her the edge in caring for the many needs of our clients. Along with enjoying working with our clients, Terry busies herself with being an active mom of two teenagers.
