Life-Long Homes for Adults with Disabilities
Synstelien Community Services is licensed by the MN Department of Human Services to provide Home & Community-Based Services  in a residential environment (a.k.a. "group homes", or foster homes) for adults (or children) who have developmentally disabilities. SCS provides these services in several residential locations in Otter Tail County, MN. In-Home Services for Families
To support families within their own home who are caring for their child with a disability, SCS is a licensed Personal Care Provider Organization (PCPO) which provides Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services. Along with providing PCA services, SCS also provides Respite Care in the client's own home or at other locations. Other in-home services such as family supports and homemaker services may be authroized by county case management to support the family.
SCS also has a Class A license to provide Home Care services to those temporarily or permanently in need of assistance in their home. We are able to provide Private Duty Nursing, Skilled Nurse Visits, Homemaking Services, Home Health Aide Services, or Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services.
